The purpose of this post is to educate others about the actions of another streamer, in hopes to prevent them from being manipulated.

I usually avoid drama, but find addressing this item necessary for my own personal health and the health of the streamer community at large.

Right up front, I want to be clear that this post is not meant to be a signal for any dogpiling, brigading, attacking or harrassment of the individual in question. If you plan to engage in such activities, you should unfollow me now. I ask that you do NOT engage this person re: this matter, but simply carry this knowledge about him forward.

LittleMonstersTV aka LMTV originally joined my community in mid-2020 where he quickly became someone with whom I enjoyed interacting. He was pleasant, talkative, and seemed to have the community's best interest at heart - A seemingly perfect person to have in your community and honestly, one I soon considered a friend. LMTV was warmly welcomed into the community and soon he was playing on the stream Sub Server. LMTV was frequently in voice comms and with me on stream. His sarcasm and wit were always things I appreciated.

In December-ish of 2020, LMTV made the decision to start streaming himself. I wished him well and supported his efforts as best I could with raids/bits/subs/lurks etc. As I have always said, I do not view Twitch as a zero-sum game, and another streamer's success is not something that negatively impacts me. I promote many other streamers, most in the same game space as me. I say this because LMTV's decision to start streaming was not why my attitude toward him changed.

In mid-January, I noticed that LMTV had directly copied the names of my commands, the cost of my commands, and the associated audio or video for those commands. I am attaching a screenshot that shows the number of commands that were directly copied, all circled in yellow.

At that point in January, I was working very hard on both Kreation Mod (a build-centric mod) and Kreatures Mod (a zombie mod). LMTV and I would frequently discuss modding ideas. What I started to realize is that LMTV would take the ideas we had discussed, and race to implement those ideas in his mods. This happened with garage doors with advanced rotation, in-game electrical systems, and even with the idea of a Snufkin's-style zombies mod. Knowing that my intention was to debut the Kreatures mod I had been working on for about 10 days, LMTV pushed his LMTV Moar Zombies mod live on his stream the day before I had planned to surprise reveal mine - which we had discussed at length privately.

There are also other unnamed content creators who have told me in strict confidence that he has taken ideas that they have discussed and then implemented them into his mods right away, which is alarming. After our falling out, it appears he continues to exhibit this behavior, which is ultimately why I am posting all of this now.

Following his zombie mod debut, I started to distance myself from LMTV and no longer openly supported his stream. I didn't disparage him, his stream or his efforts, I simply stopped being proactive on his behalf at that point.

Soon after, LMTV contacted me on Discord, sensing that my attitude toward him had cooled. He asked to talk and I agreed. I contacted him to speak over Discord on voice comms, but when I asked him to talk via Discord, he was very skittish about it.

He ultimately did not respond to me after that exchange on the 31st, and not wanting it to sit unaddressed any longer, I followed up with him on February 1st. He ended his stream about an hour early to discuss the matter. I very calmly made my case as to why I was upset, citing the following:

1. I observed that he would create scenes/incidents mid-stream on the multiplayer stream servers that I would be forced to address while live
2. He streamed in the same window of time that I stream in, but on my off days only and starting two hours earlier - about 50% overlap
3. Inviting the most active viewers from my stream to play on his private server during his streams
4. ~50% of his chatbot commands/sounds were directly copied from my stream, including the pricing structure
5. One day before I was due to debut my unannounced zombies mod (Kreatures), he debuted his zombie mod
6. Actions where he took ideas we had discussed and then raced to implement them before me, which he could achieve easily since he is unemployed and has a lot of free time. I work 60 hours a week in a "real" job on top of Twitch 20-25 hours a week, making it slower for me to implement any changes on my stream.

At this point, LMTV denied the fact that he did any of these things and that all of these things were a "coincidence". He tried to gaslight me into thinking I was the villain for bringing this up. At the end of the conversation, (which was confrontationally assertive, but never explosive) I stated I would take a week or so to think this all over and to then make a decision about how to proceed. I told him that I didn't want to make a decision that was emotionally reflexive, but rather one I had thought about considerably. I afforded him this opportunity because I considered him a friend and did not want to be overly rash.

After about 10 days, I banned LMTV and simply noted the reason "As previously discussed." I planned to leave it at that, because after deep interal deliberation, I ultimately decided that I could not continue to risk my community and budding business for LMTV. I have been burned badly in business and relationships before and my interactions with him in January were ringing all my ingrained alarm bells.

Unfortunately, I continue to have to interact with him as I am a moderator on the Mischief Maker Discord server, and he is in other streamers' chats that I frequent. Despite the fact that I cannot see what he types because I have him banned, he continues to use my interactions in the MM Discord as an opportunity to try to "one up" me or embarrass me.

Again, I work 60 hours per week in my "real" job, but I try to help out on the Mischief Maker Discord server when I can. Sometimes, I offer up half of an answer because I am crunched for times between meetings, offering up /most/ of a solution in a timely manner, rather than a full solution after my shift is over due to the time constraints. LMTV is very active in the MM Discord and frequently takes the opportunity to call me out on my (admitted) half-answers. He also is extremely active in the MM Discord server, and despite the fact that I am a moderator there, I have not banned him. I would not abuse the power ceded to me as a moderator in such a way. LMTV, however, is using the MM Discord to curry favor with other streamers. LMTV has also started to share his Mods with other streamers in, no doubt given his track record with me, another attempt to promote himself at the expense of other creators.

All of this said, I am washing my hands of LMTV. If you are actively supporting him, you are actively supporting someone who has attempted to undermine me (and other 7D2D streamers) at every turn. So please friends, be wary if LittleMonstersTV is in your chat, making nice, and seemingly supporting your stream. It may not be as well-intentioned as you think.

Stay safe out there!
